Well the time has come. I mentioned in earlier entries that there was news from the DreamGuy front. Word is getting out around here, so I guess I can tell you now that he's shutting down his business. And filing one of these. He's tried every possible alternative to this, and in all the trying, he's only managed to pile up more debt. It's very sad and painful for him. These are some dark, dark days.

As always, there's a bit of silver lining. He's been wanting for years to get out of this town, and freeing himself of this business which tethered him here for years is a step in the right direction. He'll be looking for a job in the next big town over, and maybe even in the next year, we'll look at moving over there. That'll eliminate my long commute, which will be excellent. It's a long, complicated way from here to there, though. The details of shutting things down are mindboggling.
